Patent renewals are due upon grant. Fees for years 1-6 from the filing date are paid within three months of the grant date. Subsequent renewal fees are paid before the expiration of the sixth, tenth, fourteenth and eighteenth year from the filing date. If prosecution continues for more than six years, the renewal fees for corresponding years are paid with the grant.
