A maintenance fee, or the so-called Annuity, shall be paid after a patent has been granted in Thailand, and must be paid each year to renew the patent. The first annuity (the so-called "fifth annuity") is due on the beginning of the fifth year from the Thai filing date, and additional fees shall be payable annually thereafter.
