The Armenian and Tajik Intellectual Property Offices recently started accepting patent and industrial design applications that, along with drawings, include 3D models of the claimed inventions or designs.
Four member states of the Eurasian Patent Organization, also including Azerbaijan and Russia, have now implemented this option in cooperation with the Eurasian Patent Office. This is expected to simplify and optimize the filing and examination processes.
The EAPO Member states are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
