SEDIN is attending today’s the launch event of the Global Innovation Index 2022 of World Intellectual Property Organization in the headquarters of the Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Switzerland ranks first among the countries having the most innovative economies, and for a 12th consecutive year! The United States, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands follow. China approaches the top 10 while India and Türkiye enter the top 40 for the first time. The analysis of the innovation performance of 123 economies worldwide shows, among others, that research and development continued to boom in 2021. Also, the demand for intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and designs, grew in 2021. Intellectual property is more and more regarded as a key driver of economic growth. Sedin IP
