Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Appellations of Origin and their International Registration

The African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI) has acceded to the Lisbon Agreement. The Lisbon Agreement provides for the international protection of appellations of origin and geographical indications through a single WIPO procedure.
