Beyond the capital injections in the market, the Peruvian authorities have made the decision to give intellectual property an important role in the process of business reactivation and reinvention in the country, hence Indecopi's interest in strengthening micro, small and medium-sized companies that are the most vulnerable in the sector.
According to a report prepared by the European Union (EU), companies that have a portfolio of intellectual property assets obtain 20% more income, pay 20% more to their employees and create 160% more jobs than those they don't have it.
