Changes in the Chilean Intellectual Property Law

The Chilean Chamber of Deputies has approved a new law that updates the national intellectual property system.

After its publication (plus six months), more efficient and expedited patent and trademark registration procedures will be established.  New introductions are the introduction of provisional patents and a new conceptual definition of trade marks (excluding the graphic representation requirement). Continue Reading
